Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Naperville CARES is a volunteer-driven organization providing over $1.1MM in direct financial assistance and over 500 cars to Naperville families since 1999. The mission of CARES is to provide short-term financial support and resources to meet the basic needs of local families in crisis. This volunteer-driven organization has built strong networking relationships with faith communities, government and social service agencies to collaborate and coordinate services in an effort to maximize assistance while not duplicating services. The CARES Car Program repairs vehicles donated by community members and provides them to eligible households that lack critical transportation to get to work, thus breaking down one of the significant barriers in the fight against poverty. Naperville CARES welcomes your support of Toasting for a Cause, Cuisine for a Cause, Tix4Cause, CARESGiver, and CARES Car Program.
