Executive Director, Janet Derrick, presents Al Dinon with a recognition of 10 years of service to the Naperville CARES Car Program.

After ten years of volunteering for the Naperville CARES Car Program, Al Dinon “retired” from the program in January, 2010. Al has received over 1,000 donated cars and has worked with the over 450 clients who received donated cars from CARES in our first ten years of operation. Al has always stated that the hugs he receives from clients when he has handed them the keys to their new car has been all the payment he needed over the years.

Special Events

In May, 2009, Mrs. Federhofer’s 2nd grade class raised Bake Sale raised $1,008.97 for CARES. at their bake sale. Since 2005, her class raised a total of $4,761.97 for CARES. Please read the complete article under news.
