The Naperville CARES Toasting for a Cause, A Celebration of Wine and Food, was held on Monday, November 9, 2009. This year's event was graciously held again at Sullivan's Steakhouse in downtown Naperville. Due to the generosity of
Sullivan's and our wonderful guests, $14,000 was raised to support the programs of Naperville CARES. Below is the menu that was enjoyed by our guests. We hope to see you on Monday, November 8, 2010, at the 5th Annual Toasting for a Cause.
Menu
- First Course: Smoked Salmon Rosettes over Potato Blini with Chive Oil and Dill Crème Fraiche (Grgich Hills, Fumé Blanc)
- Second Course: Caramelized Onion and Gruyère Tart with a Blond Berry Reduction (ZD Winery, Chardonnay)
- Third Course: Mixed Greens with Balsamic Vinaigrette and Crumbled Blue Cheese (Meiomi, Pinot Noir by Belle Glos)
- Fourth Course: 28-day aged Filet Mignon with Wild Mushroom-Madeira Sauce (Silver Oak, Cabernet Sauvignon)
- Fifth Course: White Chocolate Mousse with Peach Coulis (Two Hands, Late Harvest Sémillon)
